A couple of weeks ago, we had a man pushed into the church in a wheelchair. A little history about what was going on with him. He had issues eating. As he would eat his food, he couldn’t breathe well as the food would go down the wrong pipe and sit on his lungs leaving little oxygen to his body. Being an older man, he became very weak. He had been in this wheelchair now for two years. The doctors put him on an oxygen tank and gave him some meds to make him comfortable until he passed.
He told his daughter, “Before I die I want to see my brother.” So while traveling through to see his brother, they stopped at our church as one of his daughters attends to our church. As he was getting ready for church, he was taking a shower and fell, and was not going to come; but his daughter insisted that they go. As his son-in-law walked into the church, he told me of a dream he had that morning. He said, “Bro. Daniel, I dreamt my father-in-law got up and walked out of that wheelchair.” I said, “Praise God, I know God can and will do it!” The church service started, there was worship with song, the Word of God preached, and the altar call was given to the congregation. This son-in-law felt to go get his father-in-law and take him to the altar. As he pushed him upfront another minister and I began praying for this man with him, and I saw God heal him. I leaned over to the son-in-law and asked him, “Did you see that?” He said, “YES! But what is that!” I explained, “It was the miraculous healing of God!”
They wheeled him to the back of the church and this elderly man’s granddaughter felt the need to pray for her grandfather’s mind. She went back, laid hands on his head, and prayed for him; and then she walked away. He excitedly said, “Why am I still in this chair? God has just healed me!” He got up out of his wheelchair and began walking around. He told his kids “Take that wheelchair to the car so I can sell it. I don’t need it anymore.”
A few weeks had passed since then and he has been in his workshop working by himself ever since, which he has not been able to do for over two years.
So notice what happened… It was not just one person that had a part in all of this. There were many people that God used to get this man where he needed to be to receive his healing. Not only that, but notice that he was healed, but he did not realize it until his mind was prayed for.
We give you ALL the glory GOD! THANK YOU, JESUS! The first picture is one of him before his healing (seated in wheelchair) and the second he is standing on his own two feet after his healing took place.
Somebody needs to give God some praise! This Sunday at the Paseo Apostolic Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, we are praying for a miracle healing service. If you have a need, come expecting that God will do something for you! AMEN!
