Upon reading a story, I cannot remember where I read it from, but I wanted to share it with you. In this story, a young man grew up with his mom. He seen her pick up this rock that she had on her mantel for many years. He saw her move it around in the house in different places. As the day approached for his mother to pass away, she she spoke to him about this rock. She told him, never throw that rock away, for he may need it some day.
The day came when he had to lay his mother to rest. And he took his time cleaning her things out of the house. When he came to that rock, he remembered what she made him to promise. Out of all the things she had, he wondered why this ugly looking rock? So he took the rock placed it into his home.
As years passed, he tried to do something with that rock many times. He did as his mother and placed it on the mantel. But then looking at it, just did not seem to fit there. So he took it and used it as a paper weight for a while. Then one day, he looked at it and picked it up and thrown it into the trash can as he was trying to clean up some clutter.
That night, as he laid there trying to go to sleep, he remembered the words that his mother spoke to him about. She said, “Whatever you do, do not get rid of this rock. You might need it some day.” So he got up and ran to that trash can. Taking the rock out and sat it back onto his desk. The next day, he took that rock to a lab and had it tested and checked out.
When the results came back from the lab, he was in shock. Reading the lab results it states, “This rock was an uncut diamond worth in an estimate of 3 to 4 million dollars.
What am I trying to say in this post today?
Those of you that have the Holy Ghost living inside of you. If you ONLY knew what you had. The excitement could not be contained. The thrill of knowing you have the King of all kings living inside of you. The power that is laying dormant inside of you right now, waiting for you to activate it. The prayers that could be answered. The healings that could be done through you to family and friends. The prophecies that could be spoken. The devils that would flee from your life and those around you.
“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” Romans 12:3
If we could see the gifts and the amount of faith that is inside of us. What we have not tapped into yet. The saints of the Living God that learns what happens when they are in unity together. How that Prayer changes things. How that lives would be changed!
Can you imagine with me how revival looks to you?
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Ephessians 3:20
So if your imagination can think of what revival would be like, can you comprehend HOW GOD would make it happen? Above and BEYOND what we could even THINK about.
WHAT do you have inside of you?
What is your gifts?
What is your calling?
How do you see revival?
