My testimony: After beginning to spend time in prayer every evening, God began to add and connect me with people all over the world. One pastor in Kenya has been praying with me over the phone every night at the same time for over 10 days now. The connection was a divine intervention of the Holy Ghost. His request when we started talking was just for prayers. Then he begins to tell me the needs that he had and I began to share with him the principles of the Bible. One is to pay your tithes and offerings unto the Lord. By doing this, God will stop the destroyer from messing up your finances. Referencing the scripture, “Give and it shall be given unto you, pressed down, and shaken together, shall MEN give unto your bosoms.”
God has reached down to show this pastor the “power of prayer” through dedicated prayer. One example is where he needed another cell phone. We began to pray for the need and the next day, someone called him and said, “I am sending you a new cell phone and some cash.” He wanted me to preach for his church, and one of the things he thought would be great to have was a computer so we could video conference. So again, we prayed together for a computer and God sent someone to give him a computer.
We preached through video conference to the church. Within this service, there was a woman that was sick and laying down, and an elderly woman that could hardly walk because of being in pain. After preaching and lifting up their needs in prayer, God healed them both as the presence of God fell and people were speaking with tongues.
In the following video conference, I preached and another woman was sick and did not feel well. After preaching and praying for her, God healed her! Afterward, she got up and began to lead worship in the church! The pastor stated that because of what God is doing and the miracles happening, the word of healings, provision and salvation has been getting out and more people are coming to church.
The building they currently have is a small place and needed a bigger place. We then began to pray about this, and God sent a person to give the pastor $550 US dollars. With these funds in hand, he began taking some time to look for some land. They found a spot of land that they really liked but the price of the land was very high for their budget. The owners said they would sell the land by breaking it up into lots. However, that still was not good enough.
Following, we talked about it and I said, “Let’s pray that God would open the door and speak into this man’s heart to make a way and give unto you (pastor) favor.” When I woke up later than morning, I looked at my phone and had received a text from the pastor and this is what it said, “Prayer Changes You! As you prayed today (this morning), the owner of the land has called me requesting to reach only $5000 US dollars as the deposit then he will leave all the properties for us! The entire remaining amount we will be paying in bids until we finish!”
Since the pastor and the church had raised this money and this amount was exactly what they had. GOD opened the door and gave to them this building and this land within the limited funds they had. If God can do this just through spending time with Him (which I have never met) in prayer for a church in Kenya, where they do not have as much; can you IMAGINE what would happen to EVERY CHURCH, if they would fervently
PRAY and be faithful in doing it daily?
